Falkirk Sewing Studios launch our new initiative for 2022 with FREE sewing/upcycling classes. These classes will teach participants to upcycle from donated fabric and waste from sewing to create useful products. This is an excellent opportunity for all members of the community to learn to sew and to contribute to Falkirk's initiative to raise awareness about climate change, upcycle, and reuse. The classes are open to ALL and it provides an excellent opportunity to network, build your social contacts with like-minded people to end loneliness and end social isolation.
The FREE upcycling classes, open to all members of the community, will be held at Falkirk Sewing Studio, MSU3, Callendar Square Shopping Centre, High Street, Falkirk FK1 1UJ.
Free sewing classes will commence on Tuesday 01 February 2022.
Items produced at the classes will be sold at Falkirk Sewing Studio and our online store to help our initiatives to promote sewing, create awareness of climate change, build skills and confidence and promote community cohesion.
The classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 12 noon
No experience is necessary. Snacks and tea/coffee will be provided.
We look forward to your participation in these classes. Please share the information about our classes and support our activities.
