SEWING CLASSES 

Falkirk Sewing Studio is a social enterprise to benefit the community. Our sewing studio is set in a spacious studio in Callendar Square Shopping Centre, High Street, Falkirk. Our sewing classes are small, informal and affordable, offering plenty of one to one support to learners of different levels and abilities and we will help you build up your confidence. If you’ve never used a sewing machine or you’re looking to refresh your skills, we’ll take you step by step through everything you need to know to become sewing machine confident. Whether you are a  beginner who has never used a sewing machine before, or an  intermediate  sewist who has tried their hand at a few sewing projects and want to improve and further your sewing skills, here you will find a selection of sewing classes suitable for different abilities and preferences! Our aim is to teach learners how to sew and to inspire them to create and express their individuality whilst having an enjoyable experience to sew, make clothes, create garments and decorate homes with handmade items of soft furnishing.

At Falkirk Sewing Studio we are passionate about spreading awareness of sewing, arts and crafts, the garment making process, promoting slow fashion, contributing to reduced textile waste, build skills and help you build your social networks. Our mission is to help you create unique clothes that fit and beautiful, inexpensive gifts and accessories, as well as to teach you to make the most of what you learn. Whatever sewing skills you may want to learn, we look forward to helping your sewing dream come true!
